Aurora and Fanta- Very sick kitties

Organized by The Rescue House

Aurora and Fanta
Aurora is doing well! Unbelievably after her ordeal she went into heat and is quite restless at the moment! She is a VERY funny little cat. Fanta was released from the hospital finally and continues to improve! He went to a different foster home since he isn't neutered yet and had to be separated from Aurora. He is a sweet sweet boy. Thank you all so much for supporting them, their vet bills are extremely high as you can imagine. Especially for Fanta as he was in an oxygen chamber! I feel like a very lucky person that these babies spoke to me from Facebook and Rescue House supported me in my effort to save them. you can see Aurora at youtube, under Rbhint. She is something else!!

Fanta still at Hospital since November 25th.
Still fundraising for Fanta!!!! He was in much worse shape then Aurora and his vet bill is very high so far. Fanta is still in the Hospital since Novemeber 25th. and hope he is well enough soon.

Here is photo at the Hospital while visiting him and giving him a little love!

This is a picture of Fanta the day we rescued him from the shelter who still is in the hospital and we are raising money to make him better! His bill will actually be more then littla Aurora's. Fanta was quite ill and thought we would loose him but this sweet boy is a figher and we are still raising funds for his hospital stay.

Here is Aurora while in Isolation:

Aurora and Fanta
Aurora was released and is in foster with me. She is an adorable little pip of a cat! Fanta is still in the hospital but should be released soon. He is a sweetheart too!!!! His vet bill will be even more than hers, so any help sharing and circulating this ChipIn would be appreciated. Thank you all so much for helping save these two adorable kitties who certainly would have died without rescue and support! Randi
Fanta
Aurora is still improving, will be out of ISO soon if not already. She is a lesson in survival! Fanta's condition worsened over the weekend and we had little hope. However yesterday he was given a "last chance" antibiotic after 3 different antibiotics did not work on his bacterial pneumonia and the news is this morning that he is improved. Still a long way to go.. but we are a bit more hopeful this morning!
Today's Visit
We were able to visit them today, but just through the glass as they are both in isolation. Aurora is MUCH better and loves attention and people, and is eating well! We are very concerned for Fanta, as he has pneumonia and is having trouble breathing. He is in an oxygen enclosure to help him breath and is in serious condition. Randi & Kerri, The Rescue House

Fanta!
Fanta is now reunited with his mom at the vet hospital! He needed nebulizing and meds, is severely underweight as she is (he is 6 lbs and she is 4 lbs). I will update with pics when I see them tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving to all, I am so touched by the support for these two kitties!! Randi, The Rescue House.
Aurora!
We are rescuing Fanta, Aurora's son today! He will go directly to the veterinarian to be treated. Hopefully he will raise her spirits so she will start wanting to eat on her own. Thank you all so much!!
Please Help Us Save and Treat Very Sick Aurora Please and male cat she thinks is her son!!!
Aurora arrived at the Escondido Human Society with a cleft nose, a pregnant belly and LOTS of fleas. In her week there, she gave birth to 4 dead kittens, and then
days later a live kitten that lived just a few hours until she laid on him and suffocated him. She also contracted a raging URI, and is a very very sick girl. She is now down to 4 lbs. and needs to be nebulized, syringe fed, medicated, and given fluids several times daily so is now hospitalized at one of our vets who work with The Rescue House. She is a sweet girl that needs lots of love, care and a big break She lifted her little head for rubs and even squeeked for more!.
The Rescue House needs funds to cover her vet bills, and to sponsor the year old male she came in with that is thought to be her son and is also sick.We want to pull him too!
Collection amount $2500.00 and all unused money spent on Aurora will go to saving another sick or older animal.
